New guest teacher: Kira Hilli

 

Please welcome Kira Hilli - Ballerina of the Dutch National Ballet

KIRA HILLI

Originally from Helsinki, Finland, Kira started her dance journey at the age of three. She studied at the Helsinki Dance Institute and later on moved to study ballet at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, Germany. Right after completing her three-year bachelor studies, Kira moved to Amsterdam to start her career with the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet.

Throughout the years, she’s worked her way up the ranks and currently holds the title of Grand Sujet. Kira has extensive experience on stage, in both contemporary and ballet, as well as character dance. On the side of her active dancing career, Kira is also studying to become a certified dance teacher through the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance.

 

Kira will be teaching the following new classes on Saturdays (6/09, 13/09, 20/09, 27/09, 4/10) at Studio West:

  • 13:45 Ballet Intermediate/Advanced

  • 15:15 Pointe 30 min.

  • 16:00 Stretching
